Writing & Storytelling

I've paused work on my novella and novel-length projects to take a different approach with my writing. Right now, I'm:

• Publishing one piece of original short fiction (50 - 1,500 words) every Friday.
• Publishing a new installment to my dystopian sci-fi serial story, Janie and The Gray.
• Recording and publishing audio versions of my short stories with my baddie wife and ride-or-die Darcy.
• Doing all of the above and connecting with other writers on the PEWPEWHUZZAH blog, Medium, and Substack.
• Attempting to promote the above on Instagram and Bluesky.

Reading

• Spelunking Audible for my next book.
• On a Cyberpunk genre tear:
  • Altered Carbon by Richard Morgan
  • Neuromancer by William Gibson
  • Hardwired by Walter John Williams

Gaming

• Running an in-person Cyberpunk RED campaign.
• Occasionally playing Cyberpunk 2077, Path of Exile 2, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Music

• Playing lead guitar in a 90s (+/- 30 years) cover band.
• Writing original songs (music and lyrics) for my band to perform and record.

Tech

• Doing all manner of technical bad assery in my day job, but keeping my professional existence and creative projects separate for now. Why?
